Hi all!

I am finishing up a journey to completely get rid of all of my RGB, sick of dealing with software. The last two items I need to replace are my mouse and keyboard. I have been looking into options and have some ideas, but nothing really seems to fit me, I was hoping that some people may have some more knowledge on this!

For keyboard: Prefer a 96-100% layout, I use the keypad for work too often not to have it, and want to minimize desk clutter (And have limited usb ports on my KVM) so getting a sperate keypad isn't something I am willing to do , media volume control is also a bonus. I like the KBDFans Odin and the Keychron Q5, but there is a pretty drastic price difference. I purchased a 63 key tester from Drop and I have decided that I want to get the ZEALPC Zeallos 65g to start if I can, so I need a kit that doesn't come with switches. And of course, I would really prefer not to have RGB on the board at all.

For Mouse: All I can say is that my Logitech G500 from years ago is still my favorite mouse I have ever owned. I just want something reliable, wired/wireless, 2-4 programmable buttons, Palm grip, no RGB. Thought about going back to Logitech (currently have corsair Dark Pro) but thought I would put out a feeler.

If I am honest, RGB as an option is fine, i just dont want to have a software like iCue ever again, I want something that works as expected without needing to open and reopen software all the time.

TLDR

Looking for recommendations with the following:

Keyboard pref- Premium, no switches, no rgb(software), Has Keypad, volume control

Mouse - Palm Grip, Wired/Wireless, 3-4 programmable buttons (Thumb), No RGB(Software)

Available on amazon is a bonus as I have gift cards, but by all means not required.

Thanks to everyone in advance!

i personally really like the G402, wich comes at a decent price of 30$ (for some reason in germany and other EU contrys it's 60€ i i think) and only has one blue LED for the logo and the DPI indicators wich automatically turn off after a few seconds. They can all be turned off and the mouse can take a good hit or two (slamming it kinda hard on an fabric mouse pad at least).

Spoiler

NZXT and Razer have really good RGB Software, but NZXT is very pricy (fully custom keyboard, but 200 or 350$, yikes).

I don't know much about keyboards, but in your case i'd honestly go with an razer keyboard. You don't want to deal with icue (wich i can relate to, it's honestly terrible), so you don't have much options known to me, but i have basically no idea of keyboards 😛

Oh, i just read you dont want keyswitches, i cannot help you there. I marked what i sayd before reading that as a spoiler in case you want to know.

Don't forget to mark the solution!

I love my Q6, but a K10Pro or V6 should also work for you. Yes, they come with RGB (almost everything does) but you don't need software to turn that off or configure it. The keyboards come with build-in controls, which have the setting to turn it completely off.

That is super helpful to know! Thanks!
