Windows 8 boot issue

so ive installed windows 8 and everything is running fine however when i boot into windows it take ages to get the the loading windows page. i see the mobo screen to enter bois and then i get this for about 10 seconds

 

I went into my bios to see if its was a boot issue , however when i go to click on boot priority only the dvd drive and hdd come up. even though my ssd is where windows is installed onto ? i doesnt give me the option to set it as main boot drive ?

thats the "failed to find boot priority" screen, although if your pc boots up then its ok.

 

dissable everything except the ssd in the boot priority, and MAKE SURE the ssd is plugged into the port SATA0, not sata1/2/3/4/5/6/.ect it must be sata0

how do know if the sata port it 0 ?? plus it doesnt give me the option to set it as a boot option in primary or secondary ?

the wat sata works is that what ever drive is in sata0 it will assume that is the start drive, 1/2/3/4/5/6 will be secondary drives. There is no master/slave thing like IDE had. And it says "SATA0" or "SATA2" right beside the port, if not look at your mobo layout in your manual
