graphics card Debating what GPU to use

So I have a GTX 1080TI SC and an RX580 XFX 8gb, and I am just wondering what i should use if all I can afford is a 550 watt power supply

The 1080ti could still work with a 550w with good efficiency. But also depends on what CPU you have in there.

I have an FX 8150 currently in the system

It should be okay. But at the end of the day you can still power limit the 1080ti with afterburner if it came to it. Better to have the better GPU if you have access to both.
