You don't need any special cables or anything, I think it's just software and a chip of some sort on the card (not 100% sure). You do need a game that supports it though (I think Thief does). You're very limited in the amount of games that use it, and from what I've heard (haha), it's not really that good.

1. You need a game that support it, right now only Thief support TrueAudio. Lichdom also support TrueAudio but not in current beta.

2. No need cable. 

3. Connect to your sound card/onboard/dac audio jack.
