SOLVED Motherboard light on, power button does nothing after storm

dkDeMKN

EDIT: SOLVED - PC was left unplugged from everything with PSU switch turned on for about 24h. Booted like normal 馃檪

Hello all, per the title, desktop was plugged in during overnight storm, through power cord and Ethernet.聽

Plugging in the power cord makes a clicking sound, like an arc you get when plugging in an appliance.

The sound could be from the plug's contacts or inside the PC for all I know. I can't recall if this used to be the case before the issue.

For more context, prior to this (for about a year until now), after being powered off overnight, when powering on, some fan would make a rumbling noise. Upon turning the PC off and on, fans were normal.

I heard this could've been a PSU issue, so maybe it's related.

Help would be greatly appreciated 鉂わ笍
