Hello,

Am encountering this issue where my PC would crash (Restart for no reason). But restarts only happen when i in browser, after using it for 10-20min, sometimes can be as fast as 1-3min, its very random. But in games its almost never happens, extremely rare like once a month. I also encounter artifacts when scrolling, they not always there, but sometimes flash for less then a second in different shapes of black and white squares pattern. Also extremely rarely but it happens while gaming BSOD appear, but that happened once every few months. I tried some suggestions form other forums, but none helped:

  • Fresh Windows install.
  • Using one stick of ram.
  • Changed ram profiles.
  • Updating BIOS.
  • PSU replacement.
  • Full GPU driver wipe and fresh install.

My specs:

Windows 11 Home
Intel i7-12700KF
MSi RTX4080 Suprim X
Kingston FURY DDR4 2x16 3600MHz

Corsair HX1000

MSi PRO Z690-A WIFI DDR4

I plan to send GPU to shop where i got it so they test is GPU the issue, or is some other PC component. Any suggestions what else to do would be nice, as i rly don't want to stay without PC for who knows how long.

What does the BSOD say?

Have you checked the eventviewer for anything suspicious?

Any warning triangles in the device manager?

Even if you did use one stick of ram, did you do a memtest?

How are the temperatures?

If you suspect your GPU, call a friend to come over with another GPU to test how it works.

But lately I've read several threads, in different forums, about people having problems with PSU that are from Corsair.

I usually edit my posts.

Last BSOD was so long ago i don't remember what it say.
I get critical error after every crash with:
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

No warnings.
Will try memtest tomorrow after work.
Temps are fine, GPU and CPU rarely go over 60c at max load. Never over 30 while idle/light use, like browsing.
Already tried get spare GPU, but no luck, nobody willing to share.
