Best PSU for RTX 3060 Ti

Dz0nii

I need a new psu for my new power hungry gpu. Would like it to be quiet and have spare power for when the time for upgrade comes, also it should be reliable. When it comes to price something up to like $100.

My specs

Ryzen 5 5600

32 GB 3200MHz

Palit RTX 3060 Ti

1 TB nvme

Raidmax Vortex 800W psu - this is my current psu and it was fine when I had a gtx 1650 but since i upgraded it has become really loud

Thanks in advance 🙂

The 3060 ti only draws 200w so a solid 550-650w would be enough for your system.

With your budget you could get an RM750e.  Would be plenty enough for future upgrades 🙂

I run a 7700x and overclocked RTX 4080 on an RM750.

It looks like the non x variant is not sold in my country right now and the x is a lot more expensive  😅😅. Do you maybe have an alternative?

I had my eyes on the first one but I've heard that it is not on the quiet side. Also, is there any significant difference between bronze and gold

The difference is efficiency but the difference in quality between the Asus and FSP is massive. The FSP is way better.

The Thermaltake GF A3 is decent too. ATX3.0 and pretty silent up to 70% load.
