NZXT case problems

Markus_Bend

Hey Guys. I have an NZXT Special edition Orange/black Full tower i bought in end off 2016 that i just installed my new motherboard, gpu, cpu, ram, cpu water cooling in. Im having now a problem with cabble managing all my lightning and fans. My main problem is now that my 200mm side fan that is the original case fan in my NZXT tower touches the power supply to my GPU so i cant fully close the side panel if i do the fan gets fully blockes and dont spin. Do anyone have any sugestions on how to handle this? I also need some sugesestions on 120mm fans that have long cables from corsair that can be combined with my phantek water cooler and water block fan RGB.

Do you have a thick or awkwardly shaped GPU? Something like this could work if not

If not, could you just pull cable out of the way and possibly cable tie it or something if needed so its pulled further right in regards to the angle of the photo?

Is that a reference card?

Yes but is it an nvidia reference card or something from, for example, MSI?

Okay so i can only find 1060 or 1660ti gainwards, so gonna take a random guess and just say 1660ti, so its a 2 fan card, not very thick, theres possibly the option of routing cable like this and then using the case as a brace to put just enough tension on cable to keep it out of the way, or as i said, buy one of those 180 degree adapters

I had a Asus GTX1060 card that was longer in the case before and i did not have this problem then so the new card must be shorter but wither

Again, that wee adapter should fix the issue?

Yeah, just pull more cable into the gap behind the motherboard, itll put a touch of tension on the card but shouldnt be an issue

There's your problem right there! You're not Thor!! 🤣

I would try to help but the dearth of useful photos prevents me.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
