I'm having issues with Microsoft One Drive. Basically, on my Laptop, whenever I open one drive it wants to transfer ALL of my Desktop PC files onto my laptop, which is bad because my laptop doesn't have much storage and is also extremely annoying since it just fills up my laptop's desktop with stuff I don't want there.

However, whenever I go to "delete" the items (meaning, once the files have transferred onto my laptop, I hit the delete key), it gives me a warning pop up about online files. What I'm wondering is the following:

1.) How do I get one-drive to stop transferring all these files automatically

and 2.) If I delete the newly transferred files, will they get deleted from both the cloud and my laptop/pc? Or just the laptop? Want to make sure I don't nuke all my saved stuff lol.

Keep in mind that I am sometimes wrong, so please correct me if you believe this is the case!
