GPU stopping on post

Hi! Every time I turn on my pc, everything starts out fine and then the gpu stops. However, if I boot the pc without any USB accessories attached (keyboard/ mouse) it just gives an orange screen with white stripes  any advice?

the computer is about 2 years old- rog b450f mobo, asus 1060, 32gb 3600mzh ddr4 corsair vengeance, ryzen 5 5600x, 1tb m.2 ssd

have you tried different output cables/ports?

 

remove gpu and reinsert it

 

try on another monitor

i put in a new gpu, and it’ll boot to the bios, however it shows only a black screen with a mouse on it when i leave bios. the gpu doesn’t stop spinning though. could the motherboard be the problem?

remove any extra drives so you only have your windows drive installed

 

check that the windows/OS drive is the bootable one in bios
