Stuck in update...

So cyberpunk was crashing for my fiance...app has flatlined(starting to absolutely despise amd never had problems with nvidia) I did read some forums etc. Installed redistribute packages x64 x86 . It prompted me to restart pc. I did amd now I am stuck on this ... whenever I press power button now for 5 sec to shut pc down still stuck on same screen... any solution to that?

What are your system specs?  Since you have AMD... what are they?

 

5 second hard powre doesn't work?  Have to unplug from wall?

Problem was with game  7800xt , and intel 12400 . Its her pc. Someone reccomended to install redistribute packages and now when it asked to restart pc its stuck on that screen I showed... i tried powering down her pc but still happens each time now cant turn pc on even now because blocked cuz of that msg

Well I ended up having to reset this pc. Will see how it goes. If game will be still crashing Ill kist return that stupid amd and go back to nvidia . Im really frustrated

Doubt it's the AMD aspect. I play Cyberpunk with my system, both AMD CPU and GPU.

 

A clean install isn't a bad idea.  Did you do a full reinstall or a "reset"?

Its brand new pc. Week old. Reseting it atm its on 62%for 10min now

That's more like Windows problem than AMD problem to me.

DDU the drivers, It sounds like a game issue though. Try running the unigine heaven benchmark all the way

Ok, try running the benchmark all the way, Also try DDU on the drivers, I know it sounds like it won't work, but the amount of issues I've resolved or seen resolved with that is pretty crazy.

Reinstall Windows from scratch.   That will negate any driver issue.

Yes.

Amd did now driver only after ddu.

Reinstalled cyberpunk

Gonna test now

Nvm game won't lunch even straight flatlining now.

Tested few games now every single one of them crashing...

I figured out. Disabling xmp on her pc. Fixed every problem.

What RAM was it?  Intel usually works great with almost all RAM.

Nvm cyberpunk keeps flatlining still...Might just get rid of that card and go back to nvidia tbh
