Hi, I'm helping a friend upgrade his child's computer but we're trying to do it on a budget. It currently has an AMD FX 4100 and we ordered an FX 8350. I have the new graphics card and SSD, but the 8350 is coming from eBay and it'll be a couple weeks before it gets here. If I go ahead and install Windows would I have to worry about any driver conflicts if I swap out the CPU once it gets here or is it all the same for both CPUs?

Generally, no, not really, CPUs don't usually have drivers, chipset drivers can sometimes be different for different CPUs but it's rare. My advice, update to the most recent BIOS, drivers and such and all should be fine

If someone has helped you out on the forum don't forget to give them a reaction to say thank you!
