Which GPU can do more? I need an analysis on both workstation and gaming

1. MSI GTX 1650

2. AsRock Challenger RX 6400 (or) GigaByte RX 6400

3. Unbranded RX 580

Questions:

1. Hardware encoders?

2. Software advantages (such as dlss, fsr, etc.) (I know the GTX does not have dlss, just gave it as an example)

3. Hardware advantages: The RX 580 has 8GB GDDR5 vRAM while the others have 4GB GDDR6 vRAM

4. Known issues: Like heating, stuttering etc.
5. Information on connectors

Information:

1. Paired with an Intel i5 11400F, not looking forward to AMD SAM

2. Motherboard has PCIe 4.0 (MSI B560M-E, Micro ATX)

Pure Laptop Gaming found here, gaming and video editing to be exact

Months of searching for the best and optimal gaming and video editing laptop

(I may sound dumb but that's part of the process, learning is good always)

By the scheme of the text color, I am Indian, with a budget

the 580 is the best card of the bunch. it's just faster and seems to have the best hardware encoding. the 1650 is the standout here cause it can do CUDA. The 580 consumes a lot of power and can get hot. as for connectors, the 580 needs a single 8-pin, the other two don't need power connectors.

however, the 580 in your case is unbranded and could be a little sketchy. Especially if it has 2048SP anywhere in the name, which has reduced performance from the regular 580.

It'd be easier to help out a little more if we knew your budget and use case examples. Like are you trying to play MW3 or Alan Wake 2? Is this for school or work? and how much are you willing to stretch the budget? Are you in a location where shipping isn't too costly? What wattage is your PSU?

Other than that, the RX 580 is the best card there. Unbranded can be sketchy but the performance should be about what's expected from a 580. Also, AMD is in the process of stopping support for the 500 series so it's not exactly ideal as a long term solution.
