the best CPU

i am looking at 2 budget cpus, the i3 1300f and the ryzen 5 5500 but i am not sure which one to get.

i am also unsure about the best budget am4 motherboard if the ryzen is better.

does anyone know which one is better value for money?

if you need the info i am going with 8 gb of ram, 500gb of ssd storage and a amd radeon rx 6600

8 gigs of ram... Please rethink that. In 2023 that is going to hurt.

I'd go with the 5500 on whatever cheap board you can find. It's a low end chip so you don't need to worry too much about vrms.
