yes but don't get the b650-p for $300 CAD. Instead get this one Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX ATX AM5 Motherboard (B650 AORUS ELITE AX) - PCPartPicker

yup, I'd say just swap out the mobo I linked just now

can you not use the 4070 for DaVinci resolve? That's just what I thought

Budget (including currency): 1500-1800 CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: streaming, god of war, switch games, sekiro, grounded, far cry 5, art applications (krita, photoshop), video editing (davinci resolve)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I'm making my first pc build and was wondering if these parts would make a good one https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/PkmdFs. I'll be streaming, gaming, and using art applications for the most part. It would also be nice to know if there's a certain time to buy the parts or if it's ok to get them asap. I would want resolution to be 1440 or 1080, i have some peripherals but they're not too high quality so some suggestions would be appreciated and can be separate from the tower cost. I have no existing pc parts because I'm upgrading from an Acer gaming laptop.Screenshot(12).thumb.png.46cda0ecf25c8399ccb1b50b44471f0a.png

I'm looking at the last build you suggested, would it make sense to go with the RX 7800xt graphics card so that i could have more ram and similar frame rates, I'm not too concerned with ray tracing. Also i believe the RX 7800xt is cheaper where i am so i could put that money to a better case with more air flow like the 3 fan version of Phanteks. Would it be a better idea to get an ATX motherboard instead of a micro ATX one? I am willing to spend over 1800 for the tower itself and will pay more for any peripherals like the monitor separately from the budget for the tower. Here's the list based off of the questions I asked, would this pc still be good quality for the money paid for it? https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/38LkjH there's an image attached to this as well in case the link doesn't work again.

As of right now I'm not too concerned with DaVinci Resolve, I mostly put in on the list just to have a video editor on there, although it does seem that it should work fine. Other than that thank you very much for your help I hope you have a lovely day.
