Need a case for new build

Haemi

Hi.

I need help. Need suggestions for a small case that fits something like a 4080/4090 and an AIO with 240-280mm. It should also be lightweight. I need to carry it to another room for VR.

My current PC:

  • NCase M1
  • i7 7700K
  • 32GB RAM
  • GTX 1080 FE
  • Asus Z170i Pro Gaming
  • 1 NVMe SSD
  • 1 SATA SSD
  • Corsair SF450
  • Corsair H105

It's almost 7 years old and it's time for an upgrade.

This is the target GPU and CPU for at least another 7 years:

  • Ryzen 9 7900X3D or 7950X3D
  • RTX 4080 Super or (unlikely) RTX 4090

So everything except the SSDs has to be replaced.

Any suggestions? It doesn't have to be ITX. mATX in a mini tower is also fine. Max. 250€ and not too much plastic.

No offense, but what's wrong with spending a shitload less and having it only last 5 years?  4090 is a shit buy.

It's not financially smart to buy what you're planning and trying to make it last like that.

I will most likely buy a 4080 Super next year. But with GPUs becoming more and more gigantic, i want something that could fit a 4090.

And the parts i'm picking i've only listed to maybe help finding a case. Nothing else.

Also:

  • RTX4080: 1300€/5 = 260€
  • RTX4090: 1800€/7 = 257€

I see no difference except higher performance now.

You should reconsider that 280mm AIO. Either get a 360mm one or bigger or just get an air cooler. Otherwise close to no point.

Asus TUF GT502 case small enough to fit 4080's and even 4090's whilst having a handle.

Also 7800X3D is best for gaming, 7900X3D and 7950X3D fall slightly behind it.
