Hey Team!

I'd like to get into printing my photos I've been taking, but don't want to have to go to a printing shop every time I want to print some or alter something in Lightroom.

Does the printer matter much, or is it the paper type that matters?

I have a regular Epson WorkForce printer to print documents, but printing from a regular printer onto regular paper just doesn't cut it for me.

Any recommendations (whether that's to try photo paper in the printer or a cheap(er) photo printer)?

Thanks!

I bought my wife this printer and she loves it. Though I know nothing about printers, photos, or your budget. The quality seems good from what I have seen though.

The few times I've printed photos onto photo paper it went pretty well. The most hassle was getting the photo paper to sit properly on that specific printer, but that was a very very long time ago, probably a decade.(in fairness to it, regular paper was a pain to get seated well)
