So a few days ago my S4 updated which is the first time it has received an update in a while. But now I have little or no wifi and little or no data connectivity.

Also I haven't tested this but it appears my battery life diminished as well for some reason.

Any other Verizon S4 users have this issue lately or is it just me?

I wonder if it is possible to restore to any earlier version or anything... I don't know much about phone operating systems to be honest.

I know that as far as Android goes different companies have different versions of it but that's about it.

AMD FX 8350, ASUS Sabertooth 990fx R2.0, Crucial Ballistix Tracer 4x4GB 1866, PNY GTX780, Corsair HX850, Phantom 630, Samsung 120GB SSD, WD Black 2TB HDD

Rest in peace, legend.

Did you update to 4.4.2? I'm on that with verizon and haven't had issues. Samsung advises to do a full reset of your phone after updating, and no you can NOT downgrade firmwares

Yup I'm on 4.4.2. Sitting here at work I noticed that my 4G connectivity is suddenly great again. I''l have to wait till I get home to check wifi speeds. I did do a full reset and even removed the battery just to be sure.

The tin foil hat wearer in me thinks they nerf old hardware so I have to upgrade

I've had 4.4.2 for a while and I received a small update with no Android version changes. I don't know what the update did, but I've had problems twice in maintaining a cell connection. A restart fixed it both times, but I think I'm going to need to do a full reset. This is on an AT&T S4.
