Switching GPU Help.

I was thinking about going with the 4060ti 16gb for a new build i was getting since i recently got a job and ASA came out, but my system can't run it without the quality taking a big hit. But then i saw the 6800XT vs 4060ti video from hardware unboxed and thought i should try going team red. But i have put a lot of time in figuring out all the bells and whistles that NIVIDA comes with and i was just wondering if there are anything i should be looking forward to in an AMD card or any setting i should be optimizing and stuff like that? And maybe a CPU recommendation to pair with the 6800XT.

ASA eats PC's for breakfast because Wildcard is as inept as fuck.

 

Don't base ANYTHING on performance in that game.

 

There are issues with their game that go beyond our components.

I have a couple single player and multiplayer games i like to play like ASA, SOTF, The Long Dark, Ancestors, and BIGFOOT. I want to make those games as nice as i can make them because i more like to play with better settings than super high fps while also not be sitting at 30fps playing like a slideshow.

I do realize this but i want to make sure that i still know what to do with this card to make it run its best and give it at least a chance with ASA.

Around 500$ i was hoping for in a GPU. My whole budget right now is around $1,250 with a little flexibility but i dont need to get new a ram set, because i am going to gut the old set from my other build.
