PC/TV Receiver/TV HELP Please.

Okay. So I currently have it set up as PC to Receiver with HDMi and PC to TV with HDMI. The default device can only be set up in stereo and able to get sound and through the receivers speakers. There is a another with the same name able to be set up as 5.1 surround sound but unable to get sound from it. I can't figure out why there is no sound for this option There is no lag with mouse or keyboard.

 

I have connected from PC to receiver to TV and I am able to get the 5.1 surround sound. The default isn't separated in two options. I would use it this but there is lag with the mouse which can be infuriating and becomes worse if I'm trying to casual game on it. 

 

I do have the TV set up normally with it connect to the receiver via HDMI on ARC. Could this affect it?

 

I have unplugged the TV completely front the receiver and put the PC in the number 1 slot. It comes up as the receiver and the TV for sound but only getting sound from the TV speakers and not from the receiver.

 

I've also used an optical cable and I have the same issue.

 

I've looked for updated drivers and everything is up to date from my understanding. It's still very baffling.
