Budget (including currency): 500

Country: us

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: maybe mid to high end gfx gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): upgrade from a imac desktop worst buy of my life and playing a surplus amount of roblox

My goal is $500. With this build, I want to keep the cost comparable to that of a new Xbox or PS5, while making it better. I'm not the best at creating PC lists, so I came here for some help. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. here's the link and i many buying from micro center  https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7nHtCd

Don't get the G CPU. It's capped at PCIE 3.0. I think 6600 is on the cusp of being affected by it.

That BSU is a bomb, nearly.

it's pretty close but a used rtx 3080 like this one can outperform that. and with the money saved, you can get a better higher wattage psu.

you can go with the stock cooler for a core i3 and get an nvme ssd instead.

Pls Mark a solution as a solution, would be really helpful.

BTW pls correct me, iam really stoobid at times.

A 3060 is worse than a 6600 xt tho. I’d say at this budget amd is a must for gpu. Nvidia is just not doing well in price to performance
