I wouldn't go with the Sabrent Rocket, and don't bother thinking about heatsinks as they don't really matter that much.

WD SN850x Black , recently increased in price but might come back down soon again. Or at least I hope so.

Another solid option is the Samsung 990 PRO 130$ for 2 TB

These are about the fastest you can get

I wouldn't touch the 990 Pro personally after the firmware issues causing early failures.  At the very least you'd need to make sure the firmware is updated on a PC first as you never know how old the stock may be.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

Define "best"? Best performance? Best value?

SN850X was a popular early drive but it feels power crept by newer releases. I got the 1TB in my PS5.

990 Pro if you can catch it on sale is a maybe. The with heatsink price is quite a lot more than bare otherwise. Also the older 980 Pro is still a safe choice at the right price.

Kingston Fury Renegade is another higher end option at the right price.

Gaming system: R7 7800X3D, Asus ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming Wifi, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB, Corsair Vengeance 2x 32GB 6000C30, MSI Ventus 3x OC RTX 5070 Ti, MSI MPG A850G, Fractal Design North, Samsung 990 Pro 2TB, Alienware AW3225QF (32" 240 Hz OLED)
Productivity system: i9-7980XE, Asus X299 TUF mark 2, Noctua D15, 64GB ram (mixed), RTX 4070 FE, NZXT E850, GameMax Abyss, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, iiyama ProLite XU2793QSU-B6 (27" 1440p 100 Hz)

Best price to performance while still being amongst the top end of performers, should have clarified that.

Yeah, kinda guessed that. Any of the ones I mentioned should be fine, but it depends on what pricing is from day to day.
