How to deal with RGB? Which kind of hub to choose?

Supersonicwolfe

Got a Lianli Lancool III case with 3 ARGB fan, and then bought some Deepcool F**c... I mean FC120 3x ARGB fans, as well as a single LianLi UNI FAN SL-INFINITY (single pack pack, should come with ARGB header and PWM) as exhaust.

Planning to have one back 3 top and 3 front, ideally can form a ring or such,

Does that mean I will need a ARGB HUB with 9 ARGB connector, or just daisy chain them would work?

So what kind of hub shall I get or it's just not possible without something like a corsair set up?

Other RGB Device:

A CoolerMaster ARGB GPU support and Kingston Fury Renegade 2x16GB, Razer keyboard and mouse.

Motherboard is a X570 Aorus elite (2 ARGB header available) and 3080 Aorus Master (The one with that small LED display)

(Right now everything is controlled by the Gigabyte RGB Fusion2... which sucks I know, but on the other hand I don't Signal would play well with the LCD screen on the GPU. So I guess Singal RGB is not an option for now)

are u willing to have two software?

Ideally no, but I guess I can rock Signal+RGB Fusion (after all the RGB on the GPU is quite dim compare to the Cooler Master GPU support)

i would just get 2 Corsair node pro's and wire it up from there

when u would have icue for "not on motherboard RGB"

I would try that but skip iCue and go for Signal RGB.

You're probably already aware...Keep in mind that Corsair and Lian Li are migrating to proprietary ARGB connectors, which isn't just going to affect LED fans; it'll also affect things on other components, including cases.  There are different connectors possible depending on which Uni Fan you get, but you can probably resolve using an adapter, which should be included with the fan.  I'm not sure about Corsair's stuff - maybe @NorKrisknows about adapters for it. You may end up needing 2 different hubs.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

Both have adapters just like NorKirs mentioned here (I have got a ARGB to Corsair RGB adaptoer on Ebay for my BF too, works pretty fine)
