"Write disk error" on steam?

To start sorry im not very good with computers.

 

I have recently decided to re-download ark survival evolved on steam. I have alot of games on my steam account and never had a problem before. 

 

Ark finally finished downloading then it decdided to verify the game files. After that had finished i got a pop up saying "write disk error" 

 

Anyone know what ive got to do to fix it? Steam wont help me they told me to go see a pc specialist

Does your drive have plenty of free space?

Your download may have corrupted. Try right clicking the game in your library > properties > installed files > verify integrity of game files. Any invalid files will start to redownload.
