My friend had an accident on while driving motorcycle and his laptop was in his backpack at the time. As a result there is a dent and a crack, he said the port work fine, and cooling and fan noise seems to be fine so I think the cooling is fine. My question is it ok to leave it as is long term, since getting replacement for this is kinda hard.
Laptop is Legion 5 15ACH6H.

The only risk factor would be if the battery was damaged... in which case it would be a good idea to replace it with a new one, since a damaged lithium battery can be a fire hazard. Shouldn't be too hard: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Lenovo+Legion+5+15ACH6H+Battery+Replacement/154767

For sure open it up and check the battery and if the cooling system is actually still attached properly everywhere as it might be making good contact with the cpu/gpu core but could not be making proper contact with the vrms and such.

Also good idea to open it in case any loose material is inside and to inspect any components that could be under stress from the bend

Basically do a full thorough inspection of everything to make sure all is still somewhat in place. You have the luck it's a plastic laptop so metal shards inside should be too big an issue
