CPU Upgrade help.

Hello everyone,

i want to upgrade my PC to a 7800XT but will have to upgrade my CPU too since I currently have a i5 11400f. I am thinking of getting either an i7 11700KF(200euro new) or an i9 11900KF (yes i watched the video on it, its a bad cpu, but i found it for 213euro here in Austria from a reputable seller). I don’t have to upgrade my mobo with any of these. Would any of these CPUs throttle under my current Cooler (Noctua NH-U12S) or would i have to upgrade my PSU too (750W). What would you guys recommend? Or maybe i should just get a different cpu platform entirely? I don’t know.

or not do that. You know what's also at 200+ euro range nowadays? A used 5600+B550 board combo, and that edged Rocket Lake ON LAUNCH. The plus side of this plan would be the option to pick up 5800X3D once that lined the used market because that still perform within spitting range of Ryzen 5 7600. Whatever your budget is, just don't spend any more on LGA1200.

Or you can sell the mobo and the CPU as a combo and get a 5800X3D + B550 mobo and have a much better experience than with any 11th gen CPU.
