I am looking to build a mouse from scratch, using locally-made components.

Spoiler

(except for TTC switches and encoders; our microswitches aren't made for mice and don't have 80M clicks of lifetime).

It's a hobby of mine.

I want the mouse to be comfortable to use in both gaming and work applications, and I have neither the means nor the know-how to program a mouse MCU.

That is why I am looking for a gaming mouse that features no extra MCUs, only a sensor. I intend to desolder the sensor from the mouse and put it on my PCB.

From what I know, that is only common in office mice. But are there actually any gaming mice with an SoC sensor? Preferably also with an integrated oscillator.

Thank you.

P.S. I forgot to specify — I'm not looking for a sensor specifically made where I live — if there was one I would most likely know about it already. I don't care which brand the sensor would be — just that it functions without a MCU and it is okay in use.

Without knowing where you are, it will be hard to recommend a local to you sensor. In all reality, unless you live in China, you probably aren't going to find a locally made sensor.

I'm not trying to find a local sensor, I already know what that would be and why I can't buy it. I'm just looking for a good SoC sensor made by whoever.
