Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER

I recently upgraded to a Gigabyte  B550 Auros Elite v2 motherboard. I plan to upgrade my processor as well in the near future. I think a Ryzen 7 or an i7 will do. I don't know which generation will be the best. My usage is all my web development work plus casual gaming(but I need at least 1080p max gaming not to be an issue). Please let me know which should I upgrade to I want a cooler for it too. Right now, I have the Deepcool gammax l240 v2 rgb for cooling, will that work for the new processor or do I need to upgrade? Please suggest those options as well so I can start saving accordingly.
Also, I have a Gigabyte B700H 80 plus bronze. Do I need to upgrade it for the above two upgrades?

get a ryzen 5700x or 5800X3D even (though I don't think you'll need it)

First update your bios then get the 5700x

Do you need 8 cores though? Or is it just better for you to have 8 cores?

I'd say you should as that isn't a very high quality unit

Hi, I understand that. But unfortunately it wasn't a voluntary choice... I bought my PC in 2020. After 3 years now my B450 just gave up, and I had to urgently upgrade the mobo.

Hey thanks you so much.

Can someone suggest other components as well which I can upgrade to? Like the GPU, the fans and the cabinet.
