I just bought brand new components for pc.

Asus A320m-k motherboard, ryzen 5 4500, kingston fury beast ddr4 3200mhz cl16, nve m2 ssd. And I built it, also I have successfully built few pcs myself before so this isnt anything new to me. But i bought used asus strix gtx 1070 and with first power on, everything started fine (fans, lights, cpu fan, gpu fans) but on screen nothing happend. I also checked monitor and cable with my laptop and everything worked.

Previous owner says before he sent the gpu everything was working correctly and he is willing to refund me if i cant fix it. But i want to fix it cause i got great deal on it.

So i tried removing ram, gpu, cmos batery and everything but i cant make it work. Videos just doesnt come out.

I dont have integrated gpu so i cant now if its gpu or something else.

I can take it to service but thats my last solution.

Did the a320 mobo come with a bios that supports your chip? did you update the bios on the motherboard so it will work with the newer ryzen chip? if not then that may well be the problem

I would look at that first, if yes then can you test the gpu in another machine? and do you have another gpu to test in yours?

Try another display cable hdmi/display port cable, even though it works on your laptop does not mean it 100% will work on the 1070, try all the outputs on the 1070 as well.

Oops.

Like said above the a320m-k needs a bios update to use that processor.

Worse than that it doesn't have a bios flashback usb port so you need to do it the old fashioned way.

You have two options here really.

1)maybe you know someone with a 1st gen ryzen or you can phone around Computer repair shops until you get someone with a 1st gen ryzen who will do it for you.

2)buy yourself an athlon x4 950 for super cheap and just use it to update the motherboard bios with.

Option 2 would be my go to , they shouldn't cost more than about $10.
