Hello

I tested my i7 11700k on two motherboards, one being the Z590 tomahawk wifi and the other the Z490 gaming plus

Both motherboards bios are up to date, tried to run with 1 stick of ram on Dimma 2 same problem

I get a red cpu light on the Z590 and a white cpu light on the Z490

Anyone have suggestions on what I can be doing?

Did you buy the CPU used??? Sounds dead if the BIOS' are up-to-date on two motherboards and you cannot get it running.

But since a couple months ive been running w this issue, restarting the psu on/off button 200 times until it boots up without the cpu light, since yesterday I changed my desk to a new one, had to power off the PC (often was staying on for 30+ days to avoid the 200 restarts trick) since then I built my desk and the pc won't boot and stuck on the cpu light ever since

Check your motherboard socket pins. Some may be bent

Btw the white light on the z490 is showing that the 11700k is getting power

Also is the pc getting into bios at all? Or booting?

What's the issue? The system not posting and getting stuck on a CPU LED intermittently??

Yes exactly

Were there every any BSODs that can point to the CPU? Try clearing CMOS.
