GPU Core clock

The core clock of my gpu is different depending on which display I am using. If use my laptop's screen, the mhz reaches a consistent 2000mhz+ which is the standard performance for rtx 4050, however, if I use an external monitor the clock speed gradually declines then it reaches to the point where it won't even reach the lowest bare minimum which is 1605mhz. Regardless, the cpu performance seems to be stable and curiously, the usage percent of the gpu on either display seems to be similar. Is this normal? need your help guys.

(In idle/desktop use) The refresh rate of the screen can have an impact, though usually on the memory more than the core clock. Laptop's might behave differently (can't see why they would, since saving power is even more important), but desktop GPUs drop their clocks a lot with a 60 Hz screen and most single monitor configs. Using two screens will almost always raise the clocks a lot, except if they're both 60 Hz.

both of my monitors are 144hz T^T
