If the card is 290mm and the case supports up to 290mm then it will fit. It will be tight, but it will fit.

https://www.anandtech.com/show/8383/corsair-carbide-240-air

Clearances HSF 125mm
PSU 200mm
GPU

360 mm

That is the only website I find that shows 360mm for the GPU, all other websites I read specs on this case its 290mm.
I am definitely leaning more towards 290mm max GPU length than 360mm for this case.

well im not sure now,

the link i showed above says 360mm but im seeing 300mm and 290mm on forums and corsair have removed their product info.

this website says 290mm though.

Exactly, only the anandtech website shows 360mm, everything else shows 290mm.
This is why you check more than one website before coming to a conclusion 🙂

The cases length is 397mm though so seeing 290mm max GPU length is very strange..
Could be due to front radiator compatability or front fans.

Thats why I said what I said regarding radiator or fans^^
A case like this with a 397mm length would easily fit a 360mm GPU even with slimmer front fans. A max length of 290mm makes no sense to me with over 100mm of extra clearance to the front.  Some cases do have their old hard drive cages that could be removed for more GPU clearance, like in my Corsair Carbide 760t.
