Pc boot loop or something

Okay so my friend bought i7 3770k and switched it to he's pc and it doesnt work anymore. Its just goes to bootloop with dram light red. He has tried many different rams and even different mobo but still doesnt work and i dont even know what to do anymore so i come ask here for some help.

Specs:

Motherboard = asus p8p67

Cpu = i7 3770k

psu = corsair 600w

gpu = gtx 1060

ram = Hyperx 2x8Gb

That CPU is pretty old, it might just not work, has he tried his old hardware that was working?

He tried switching old cpu back and it didnt work

If it worked before the swap, but doesn't now after, I would start by looking at the CPU socket pins to ensure they didn't get damaged in the swap somehow.

but he tried on new motherboard and still no work

What motherboard was it? Also, is it a known working model itself?

Yes it was working and the new motherboard is: p8z68-v asus
