Hello,👋

This is my setup i builld it like couple months ago but having some issues with it.

CPU: I9 13900 (Up-to-date).
GPU: MSI Suprim X 4090 (Up-to-date).
Motherboard: MSI Z790 DDR5 (BIOS Up-to-date).
DRAM: 64 GB RAM Corsair 7200 Mhz. (4 in total)
Battery: 1000x Corsair Battery.
Cooling: H170I Elite Corsair cooling.

Systemsoftware: Windows 11 Pro (Up-to-date).

Temperature🥵

GPU Idle : 35 C
GPU Ingame : 50 C

CPU Idle : 35/40 C
CPU Ingame : 70/80 C

DRAM Idle: 33/39 C
DRAM Ingame: 40/45 C

What are the problems?🤨

- Games isnt smooth i have to play on poor settings to make the game smooth.
- Overclocking isnt possible Memory error.
- Alot of Bluescreens when im overclocking (Memory).
- Internet problems (Drivers up-to-date).

What did i change already?🚧

- 64GB DRAM sticks DDR5 7200 Mhz. (4 in total)

What did i try?✨

- Benchmark error.
- Stress test error.

Hope someone is knowing whats wrong.
Im hopeless 😭

what speed are you trying to overclock to?
and how many sticks of ram do you have?

Are you using XMP or just changing the frequency manually?

 

If you're using XMP or overclocking manually, are you checking the voltages are appropriate for the memory (or being set at all)?

4 sticks of ram i tried 7200 Mhz but now they are stock and still having issues with performance with this setup i have to put my settings on "Poor" 😅

I did when i overclocked XMP , Fan Control.

from what i've read i'm pretty sure your mb doesn't really support 7200mhz on 4 slots

It says it supports 7200mhz but i don't know if its on 2 or 4 slots 😅

Im using 4 slots (4000Mhz) now not overclocked and its still shit.

Im using 4 slots (4000Mhz) now not overclocked and its still shit.

Google the spec page for your board and it will tell you, from what I've seen, most MSI boards are rated for 6400 with 4 single rank sticks, but the lower-end ones are 6000. What speed the average 13th gen Z790 user achieves with 4 single rank sticks, I don't know.

 

What scores do you get in something like 3D Mark or Cinebench?

Can't use 3D Mark of CineBench can use it for couple min then bluescreen
