Printer Issues

Printer is not working

 

I tried printing a test page and here is the result.

 

I cleaned the print head and it just got worse instead of streaks  only the outline of texts are shown.

 

What does this mean? I am unable to troubleshoot with different print heads and I just want to know what I need to replace for this is this just the print head?

Probably new ink, it's not flowing properly.   Also, the print heads aren't fully cleaned.  Keep running that cycle, as dried ink isn't a 1 and done cleaning.

It's a Canon G3000, I really wanted to buy a laser printer after I changed the print head of this for the 4th time in 5 years but my parents said since we'd be moving it would be a good idea.

I didn't run the cleaning multiple times because a few years ago the printer repair guy told me I should only run it once or it damages the cartridge. I followed your advice and it started printing better.

This is ink starvation, as the print head crosses left to right with each pass only part of the image is hitting the page giving you that diagonal line result. It is a inkjet printer- do a color quality test page and replace the print head of the affected color.
