Need opinion

Hello guys I am looking for a new laptop for my uni for programming and would line to know if ACER PREDATOR HELIOS NEO 16 2023 I7 13TH GEN / RTX 4050 / 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD / 16" WUXGA 165HZ DISPLAY is good or no and is there any problem with it

that'd be a decent choice. But what's your budget and are you in the US or another country?

It'll get you through just fine but it'll be heavy to carry around all day, every day.

My budget is 1400$ and I live in Nepal

I don't mind it being heavy I just need it to be good for uni

I guess shipping from the US is a no-no? If so are there any websites that you order tech from normally?

Well define for us "good." I did 4 years of game development at uni with an Acer swift 3. Really small laptop with an APU. Was plenty strong for what I needed it to do. Even handled UE5 but that was the limit and we sort of played with fire to try out the latest thing that nearly backfired badly (UE5 very undercooked). Most most other project even an APU was overkill.

Good an in it would be enough for programming some games and some rendering I will be CPU intensive work in uni I think

It'll be enough for programming and the i7 13th gen is good for redendering

Which i7 13th gen specifically?
