I have a WiFi adapter and Ubuntu wont detect it please help

I've gotten Wi-Fi to work on PCI_e adapters. I don't know about USB.

 

Does it show up when you run lsusb?

In the future try to avoid USB wi-fi adapters. They're flakey and often have really bad Linux support.
