Startups getting worryingly slow

Heya!

 

Recently I have noticed that the startup time of my relatively fresh build has gotten longer.

 

The orange light on my Motherboard lights up for a good 10-20 seconds before the signal arrives to my monitor, after that it's an instant like it used to be.

 

Something worth noting is that started happening after I upgraded my GPU, but I have removed the previous drivers.

 

Is this something to investigate further or am I just being paranoid?

AMD Ryzen 7800X3D

ROG B650E-F

AMD RX7800XT

Corsair DDR5 6000MHz

Arctic Liquid Freezer II

have you updated the gpu with the new drivers as well as the bios?

Both are up to date, yes!

how long is the boot time compared to before?

i AM DUMB (you already said the time it took) 20 seconds is normal and my pc take that long too(mine is relatively new too) your just being paranoid everything is fine

Before it was like 2-3 seconds before it gave the signal to the monitor, and then the whole boot process was an instant.

 

Now sometimes it takes well over 30 seconds, or even a minute, but after it gets the signal, it's instant as it was, so that hasn't changed.

I am assuming your running your windows and if that is the case the boot times are pretty slow all u can do now I suppose is wait for an issue to arise...

Sorry, I have to reopen and bump this.

 

BIOS times are now 2 minutes on average, something isn't feeling right.

Tried reinserting the GPU, that didn't do anything, still around 2 minutes of orange light.

 

Once it "wakes up" from its orange slumber, it goes through all its LED lights without a problem and boots in a second.

UPDATE:

 

CMOS reset fixed everything, issue is now completely resolved!
