I bought an Acer Swift 5 SF514-54 14" laptop a little over 2 years ago and have been using it since with no issues. Recently, however, I have been having stability issues. It started with getting blue screens a couple of times per week and escalated to the point where I can't even get it to boot into windows. Whenever I turn it on I get the "No bootable device" error.

Things I've tried:
- Resetting windows

- Trying a different SSD

- Resetting the BIOS

- Reseating the SSD

- Trying to update to the latest BIOS

- Checking that the time and date in the BIOS is correct

- Plugging out the battery and running it from wall power only

That last one has worked on occasion and I have been able to get into windows, however the instability issues persist and it doesn't work 100% of the time.

Upon trying to change the boot sequence, the laptop didn't detect any device at all.

I am currently running Windows 11 (the latest version to my knowledge) and the latest BIOS version.

Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated :)

There's not much you can do if the BIOS won't even detect the SSD. You can try a third one for good measure but it looks like a bad NVMe slot or a motherboard defect. If you have any warranty left, I think calling for an RMA is your best option.
