Just to rule out the obvious have you changed / inspected the batteries to make sure they are neither dead or leaking?

 

Also here is what steelseries says the reset procedure is.

I changed the battery’s and tried to reset it but is still will not work

Just had the same issue, hit my mouse in frustration and it wouldn’t turn on, nada. Took it apart, cleaned everything out, new batteries etc and gave up and put it back together. Found this legend on youtube who said to hold the scroll wheel, right click and left click down with the mouse off for 5 seconds and then turn it on and hold for 5 seconds until a light comes on. Worked like a charm but have to get new mouse slider feet now 😂
