Xbox controller disconnecting

I'm using a xbox one controller with the dongle thing to play stuff on my oc wirelessly but since last night it's been randomly disconnecting all the time and when it reconnects, it has like massive input lag more than lika second or so. I've switched the batteries, a full power cycle and switched the usb port for the dongle but still nothing.
