C70 front panel fan question

Scottagecheeze

I am trying to plan out my build and I was going to put two fans in the front panel of my C70 but I am not sure whether to get Corsair AF or SP. There is a filter in front of the fan slots, but not sure how much it will really affect things.

Thanks

Some say the Corsair AF are what you should use however I've seen a quote of something published by Corsair saying to use the SP's. If your mind isn't set on the Corsair fans, might I suggest Noctua NF12's if you can get past their color scheme otherwise Scythe GT's.

roll with the SP120 fans. now your descision will be quiet or performance.

i use the PE and if needed, will undervolt to suit noise level goal.

yes, due to the filter and air-flow restrictions behind the fans, the SP

would be a better choice. therear exhaust and HDD cage fans would be

AF candidates, but for looks, matching SP would not hurt.

You should use SP's if the fans are right up against a restrictive HDD cage, other than that AF's will be fine

I would go with noctua nf12's

If I had one wish, I would ask for a big enough ass for the whole world to kiss

I put two of the stock corsair 120mm fans up there... they work great and you cant even see them so why not :)
