Windows does not save known networks

Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded my pc, and reinstalled Windows in the process. Now, it wont save any network I connect to wirelessly, and I have to reenter the password every restart. I already tried the Network reset option in the settings and reinstalling the network device driver. Any network I connect to is not added to the known networks list in the settings, and if I try to see the network properties, it remains empty (see Image). image.thumb.png.9475d3c6774551c8fe5fb7451f0fd105.png

In the control panel, there also isn't the expected wireless properties button.

What can I do to solve this?

Thank you for your time.

It's only a hunch... maybe some registry folder might not have the right ACL.

Is there any chance you played a bit with your registry?

I'd try with a sfc /scannow from administrative prompt... then reboot... than try again.
