What GPU should I get?

Go to solution Solved by WeTuLo707,

I have an RX 6600 XT, which is just a very slight step above your model and I was not too impressed with mine either. I am an aspiring engineer and have done some CAD work and programming as well. This graphics card just did not work for me and it was not my favorite when I was gaming (my game of choice being Star Wars Battlefront II).

I was planning on upgrading to the RTX 3060 Ti as I have heard nothing but good about it, not to mention it is cheaper than my current card. I would recommend this to you. It is a slightly older card, at 1 year older, but is one with quite a good reputation.

Hope this helps,
WeTuLo707

Specifically NVIDIA only please!

Hi guys! I've been wanting to upgrade from my Power-color RX6600 to an NVIDIA card as I've noticed what I play and do mostly requires a better graphics card and something that isn't AMD. I'm a VRChat content creator who records in 1080p60 and sometimes 1440p60 and notice my 6600 can't keep up with what I need to do, and before you ask, my CPU is able to handle everything I throw at it, it being a 5600X. At the time, this 6600 was really good at doing whatever I threw at it, but it's time for an upgrade. I also play many other games, such as osu!, Fortnite, GTA 5, soon to be COD, and do some major video editing for content creation. I'm not sure what my budget should be here so that's why I'm coming to you guys to ask, what GPU should I go for? This might give a helpful hint on what I'm trying to go for, I'm trying to just go for either an 8GB card, or if possible, a 12GB card that isn't overpriced. I would also prefer if the links and or prices you give me are in USD.

I've looked at how NVIDIA has been these past few years and because of their choices and overall benchmarking tests I've seen from multiple trusted sources, I can't tell what GPU would be better in PTP.

Which budget?

Someone could recommend an RTX 4070, but that one would be bottlenecked by the 5600X especially on 1080p.

Maybe the 4060Ti? Or the RTX 3070?

Arc A770 is technically an upgrade.

There would be slight choke on it but id rather have better GPU now rather than holding myself personally.
