Need help with Raid1 setup

Hello, I have an ASUSTeK TUF Z370-PRO GAMING motherboard with a normal m.2 and a nvme drive for my operating systems and then 2 2TB hard disks by Western Digital model: WD20EZRZ-00Z5HB0

I would like to make this two disks a Raid1 to store important data. How do I do it? In the motherboard BIOS i do not see them in the Ez Raid Setup option. I see only 1 of them and the other is my m.2 SSD that I use for Linux.

Make a mirrored set inside Windows Disk Management. This way if the motherboard needs to be replaced or upgraded, the array can be migrated.

Did you read latest version of your mainboard manual?

Has your mainboard the latest bios?

Not English-speaking person, sorry, I'll make mistakes. If you're kind, maybe you'll be able to understand.

If you're really kind, you'll nicely point that out so I will learn more about write in good English.  🙂

yes it has the last bios and yes i read the manual.. But it doesnt say why it wont let me select the sata drives i want. The Ez Wizard will display alld rives but then when I click next only 2 appear and not the right ones. You can see in picture

Try a different sata port, like using SATA Port: 2 for the drive you're looking to RAID verus 5,6.

I tried to place the two WDC drives in sata port 2 and 3 and the wizard tries to raid the ADATA sata drive in port 1 with the WDC drive in port 2.

Also i tried to use the sata port 1 but it does not work. I guess that the ADATA drive is using it...

Have you confirmed both HDDs show up independently in an OS? What happens if you create the RAID array with only those two drives attached (no others)?

Maybe both drives have MBR partition scheme, and not a GPT one?
