I have the Thermaltake view 71 TG RGB and since I recently bought the Galahad 360 SL-INF (will install that one on the top) I thought why not replace the fans that came with the case with SL INF fans by lian li. Now I have a lot of questions: can I fit 2 120 mm fans on the bottom even with an ATX 3.0 power supply? Would it be better to get 2 140 mm fans or 3 120mm ones for the front? Also would it make sense to get a 120 instead of a 140 on the back to not create negative pressure?IMG_0793.jpeg.5cac39d9154d445bad8c47e6db2bf5af.jpeg

Interesting case !

Why change the fans ? at moderate speed they'll be silent and efficient

Why fan overkill ? I'd try step by step.

By the way did you consider a contact frame for the cpu ?

I prefer 140 to 120 when I can.

First of all I need to add some fans because there only came 3 with the case (2 intake 1 outtake) and if I add the aio which has 3 outtake fans the pressure will be negative. And I want to replace the existing fans because the SL inf fans look better and then I would have only SL Inf fans and not some SL Inf and some Thermaltake Riing

You could mount the aio at the front. No more negative pressure, no ?

Then add Thermaltake fans, no more mix up.

At least in my case (pun intended) I found 2x140mm performs considerably better, because the middle 120mm was blowing straight onto the end of the GPU so just causing disruption to the airflow pattern.

I'm all air cooled though with less hot air coming off the GPU since its a 4090 FE so vents a lot of the heat directly out of the case.  Still, the bottom fan blows to the GPU, the top fan to the CPU - leaving a gap between the fans of the GPU width.

Also bear in mind, if you end up with negative pressure is all down to fan speeds.  You could easily use something like FanControl to regulate the radiator fans to a slower speed, it just might take some figuring out what is right and balancing it with cooling performance.

No I didn’t yet. Would you consider that important so is it worth it? Are there any things that I should know or a preferred brand or smth before I purchase one? Are there any possible compatibility issues with motherboard or aio?

I installed mine recently.

I thought it did improve but I'm not sure anymore. It's not worse for sure.

And I haven't got such a powerfull cpu as you. I got mine for 5.- at Aliexpress (after 3-4 weeks).

I'd do it.

Put the aio as intake. It's better for it's temps and this case works  better this way too.

This case doesn't have much airflow issues since it has a rather large gap and does well with 140's or 120's. Just leave the bottome empty. At best 1 fan will fit and it doesn't really do much

Partner has this case and it's pretty good all be it huge and heavy.
