AMD drivers timeout

Hi all.

 

After doing a fresh install of windows and upgrading to win11, i keep getting driver crashes while ingame. Like 3 or 4 times a day, and pretty much only in Halo Wars 2.

 

I've already tried DDU (not in safe mode).

 

Other than EXPO, i'm not OC.

 

windows log says RadeonSoftware error, so i'm thinking its adrenalin still.

I had similar problems with mine, I fixed it with msi afterburner and made a reddit post about it, 2 others also solved their same problem by my method so you can give it a try.

(Make sure to enable afterburner to run at startup)

But I don't wanna underclock it tbh.

Perhaps I could up the voltage

Ya you can try that it'll run hot but maybe it solves the issue

it maxed out at 86c and still crashed.

i turned core voltage up to max (1100) and power limit to +15%

 

crash error in event log says svchost.exe_BcastDVRUserService crashed.

 

I'm at a total loss here.

 

Even if i post on reddit, i get 0 replies.

Try disabling it 

If this doesn't work and you don't wanna underclock replace the card
