be careful with your words, there are 30hz monitors, but no one in this forum is dumb enough to recommend those- i hope

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/mMWjcH

best i could do, gave you a beefy CPU cuz MC is MC and a 6600 is almost as fast as a 3060

for a better GPU, swap the i7 for a i5 12400f and the 6600 for a 6700XT-

EDIT: the mobo i selected just went up 200 pounds in price so use this one instead-

with G version ryzen, you pay extra for iGPU and performance cut due to required space needed to remove for iGPU to fit there,

which is pointless if you are getting a GPU

Dont waste OP's cash on an Ice Edge Mini refresh, barely better than stock cooler. But beyond that that would do fine on 1440p. Personally though? I prefer save that for later, 1080p144 is fine.

I HIGHLY recommend you to change this for 4070 instead. At the current 30p/kwh power bill cap, the 65 GBP delta would be paid off by 9 months of ownership.

That's the thing, not much to go off on. 2 games, "programming" as if that's helpful, <£1000(~?) and 60Hz+.

You sure the prices for daily average gaming sessions would be that drastic? Remember a German dude asked for a PC being money conscious and after doing quick maths the NVIDIA GPU (can't remember what against AMD) took several years to pay off. If we talk extremes could put the money not spent on an NVIDIA GPU towards the solar panel budget that'll start saving you money against the grid... but I'm being ridiculous now :DD

100W saving, assuming 8 hours of gaming a day. Fuck UK utilities.
