How do I add a USB-C port on a budget?

Kandrona

I'm currently planning my first gaming PC, upgrading from an Alienware M15 laptop. Although, I noticed that both my case and motherboard do not come with a USB-C port. I need a USB-C to hook up my drawing tablet and, more importantly, VR headset.

CaseDeepcool MATREXX 40 3FS MicroATX Mini Tower

Motherboard: MSI PRO B660M-A WIFI DDR4 Micro ATX LGA1700

These are the best I've found for the price on a budget

I need at minimum 2-3 USB-C ports. 1 for a VR headset and 2 for drawing tablets. The motherboard does come with a front USB-C connector. I've heard that one can get a little chip with some ports on it, but those are often expensive and don't come with enough ports. Would it be okay to use a USB-A to USB-C hub? I'm worried it would wreck the speeds for my VR headset, and I'm having trouble finding the right hub in decent quality. The latter is more affordable. I'm willing to pay up to $30.

Any advice is appreciated.

Can't you just buy a usb a to usb c converter for cheap?

You could get like 3 or 4 of these.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).
I'm learning video editing and trying to get some cash as a high school student.
I like F1, my favourite team is Scuderia Ferrari and favourite driver is Charles Leclerc. Favourite track is Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Playing with a 1080p 60hz monitor right now, hoping to upgrade to a 1440p 144hz one soon.

Living in AU and that pisses me off since every event is late at night or early in the morning (almost every F1 race starts around 11 PM AEST time)

That one doesn't appear to be USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps).

I'm unsure what your VR headset needs, but you can find a USB-C to A with USB 3.2 Gen 2 spec if it needs at most 10Gbps USB bandwidth

As for your tablet, I don't think you need USB 3, and it should be fine with a USB 3.0 (or even 2.0) USB-C to A cable.  The cable I linked isn't even that pricey so just buy a whole bunch.
