Black screen when booting up

Heya everyone! 

 

Apologises in advance if this is the wrong place to ask this and let me know if I should post in a different group.

 

So after downloading and installing some new drivers (don't remember exactly which ones but deffo did the newest drivers for my GPU) my PC goes into this black screen when booting up. Nothing happens if I leave it. But when I restart it in safe mode it works and starts up! 

 

Could it be something wrong with my GPU? I'm not tech savvy enough to know where/how to look to see what's wrong
